Payment Policy

Important: The payment options actually available to customers at checkout or confirmed by our team before dispatch are the only payment methods accepted for an order. We do not request PINs, passwords, OTP codes, or any other sensitive security credentials.
This Payment Policy explains the payment methods accepted by Nofba, when payment is due, how payment verification works, and how refunds are handled. It is intended to help customers understand the full payment model before placing an order.
1. Accepted payment methods
Nofba accepts only the payment methods clearly made available on the website at checkout or otherwise confirmed through our official customer support channels for the specific order.
At the time of this update, our store primarily supports:
- Pay on Delivery, where available for the customer’s location, order value, and product type.
If additional payment methods such as card payment, mobile money, or bank transfer are introduced in future, they will be shown at checkout and this page will be updated accordingly.
2. Payment timing
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or during order confirmation, payment is due at the point specified in the checkout flow or order confirmation process.
- For Pay on Delivery orders, payment is due when the order is delivered.
- We may contact a customer to verify an order before dispatching it.
- We may decline or cancel an order where fraud, abuse, repeated failed deliveries, or materially inaccurate order details are suspected.
3. Pricing and full charges
All product prices displayed on Nofba are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated.
Before the customer completes an order, we aim to clearly disclose the total amount payable, including any applicable delivery, handling, installation, or other order-specific charges.
Where a charge applies but cannot be automatically calculated until delivery details are confirmed, the customer will be informed before the order is finalized or dispatched.
4. Pay on Delivery conditions
Pay on Delivery may not be available for every item, destination, or order value.
- Nofba may restrict Pay on Delivery for bulky items, high-value items, remote locations, or repeat orders with failed delivery history.
- Customers using Pay on Delivery must ensure that the delivery address and phone number are accurate and that the recipient is available to receive the order.
- Refusal to complete a valid Pay on Delivery order after successful delivery attempts may affect future Pay on Delivery eligibility.
5. Payment verification and fraud prevention
To protect customers and the business, Nofba may verify identity, order details, delivery information, or payment-related information before releasing an order.
- We never ask for a card PIN, account password, M-PESA PIN, or one-time password.
- Customers should make payment only through methods officially presented by Nofba.
- Orders that appear fraudulent or materially inconsistent may be delayed, canceled, or refused.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are processed in line with our Return & Refund Policy.
Where possible, refunds are made back to the original payment channel. For Pay on Delivery orders, refunds may be made through a verified method agreed with the customer, such as a registered mobile money number.
7. Security
Customers should only place orders and submit personal information through secure Nofba pages or authorized Nofba support channels. Personal information submitted during checkout or support interactions is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Policy updates
Nofba may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or checkout changes. The latest version published on this page will apply.
